Cuentas has created a prepaid debit card service for people who previously did not want or could not have a bank account in the US. Funds held in your CUENTAS account are elegible for FDIC insurance. You can register for the "CUENTAS Prepaid Mastercard” using the Cuentas App from your mobile phone with the identification you have, even if it is from your country. We may ask you for identifying information to verify your identity upon registration. If you have a valid US address and legally reside in the US, you can enjoy the convenience of having a card that allows you to organize all your accounts, deposit cash, make your payments online or at the stores of your choice. You will have the control of seeing all your transactions, payments, money transfers, transfers in addition to being able to use ATMs throughout the United States, Mexico and many more countries.

Always keep your PIN in a safe place and never write it on the card. If your card or PIN is lost or stolen, immediately call Customer Care at 1-844-433-8086.
How do I earn CUENTAS long distance rewards? It’s easy! Just select the option for rewards when you register. Once you have signed up, you will earn CUENTAS international long distance rewards when you activate your card.
1.- Take your card and money to a participating Vanilla Reload retailer. 2.- Present your card or the barcode from the Cuentas App to the cashier to add funds* to your prepaid card. 3.- The cashier will ring up the sales and load your funds directly to your Cuentas card.*Reload fees apply.
